Kendall Remington
University student, creative storyteller, and lifelong adventurer.
My Story
Hi, I'm Kendall, and I truly believe in the power of storytelling. I'm on a journey to channel my creativity through media production.
My lifelong love for film began to cultivate into a love for documentaries as a teenager. I watched Cowspiracy and was instantly hooked on how storytelling through film could impact an individual to the point of changing their whole lifestyle.
As I look ahead to my future after completing my studies, I hold a strong desire to focus on issues related to climate change and humanitarian work. In our present era, where the voices of young people hold the power to shape the future for generations to come, I feel a profound responsibility to leverage my privilege and amplify the voices that are often silenced.
It's my hope that through my own work, I can contribute to education, inspire others, and ignite positive change in the world.

My Work
A collection of self-written, filmed, directed and edited work.
ConQUering Fears
For my capstone project in the Media Foundry course, completing my studies at VCU, I turned the lens inward for the short documentary "Conquering Fears” which explores my mom bravely facing her fear of performing. The film intimately captures her courageous attempt at karaoke through candid moments, archival footage, and a therapist’s insights on the psychological foundations of fear and love. It's a heartfelt tribute to how loved ones' strength can catalyze profound personal growth and self-acceptance at any age.
